Uriel Marín

He was born in the city of Córdoba Veracruz in 1981. He studied his Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Universidad Veracruzana. He has continued his formation in different workshops and courses with important artists and institutions amongst which are a Residency at the University of Houston Clear lake, USA and a Residency at the San Agustín Center for the Arts, Oaxaca with Jan Hendrix as instructor. He was awarded a grant from the Secretary of Culture of Oaxaca in 2005 and 2006 within the program for community workshops of Oaxaca. His work has been presented in different cultural centers and alternative spaces in cities in Veracruz, Oaxaca, Puebla, México and the United States.
